Academic and personal biography of Daniel Navarro Sánchez:

Daniel is from Huelva, although for academic and professional reasons he has lived in recent years in Salamanca, Seville and, currently, in Madrid. He is a staunch defender of animal rights from a holistic point of view, as he addresses this attitude from a researcher and activist perspective.

Regarding the academic field, Daniel has a Law Degree from the University of Salamanca since 2009 and a Computer Engineering from the Pontifical University of Salamanca since 2007. In 2005 and 2006, he was awarded two prizes for the Academic excellence.

On the other hand, in his academic record, he also has the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude and a Master's Degree in Business Law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. In addition, he has been a student of the Master in Animal Law and Society at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​which has enabled him to currently be a member of ICALP as a doctoral student in the specialty of Animal Law.

In view of the above, his research within the ICALP tries to bring his two legal passions together in order to offer animals, permanently, sustainable alternatives to well-being and that they can be recognized as subjects endowed with legal personality by normative legal systems.

Since the beginning of his professional career, he has practiced as a lawyer specializing in labor law. Thus, he has provided services in the labor area of ​​J & A Garrigues SLP, one of the best law firms in Continental Europe, later he went on to work in the Labor Relations department of one of the largest national construction companies. Finally,

ince 2017 he leads the labor law area of ​​a State Mercantile Society that is the spearhead in the field of National Engineering, where he continues to practice his profession as a labor lawyer.

His practical business vision, the result of his work in the private and public sectors, offers enormous possibilities for the confluence of the defense of animal rights, labor law and corporate Corporate Social Responsibility, axes that will undoubtedly mark the social agenda for the next years.
