In 2019, a symposium on "Food and Law. A Comparative Perspective" took place in Parma (Italy). Roma Tre University, Department of Law, has recently published the proceedings in two volumes. The first volume includes seventeen works on the main cultural and legal issues related to food, such as food choices, the challenges of multiculturalism, the agrifood market, the unfair trade practices, the product quality and labelling, especially in the European Union.
