ABSTRACT:

This article is about the creation of a manifesto in France by an unprecedented collaboration of twenty-six representative’s from French and international non-governmental organizations. This declaration is composed of thirty proposals designed to improve animal welfare and modify laws. It is intended for the presidential elections candidates, which will occur in April and May of 2017.

The Manifesto is divided in six categories (according to the “kind” of animal) each including an abstract at the beginning and five proposals. Animals are divided into: farm animals, laboratory animals, entertainment and performance animals, pets, and wildlife. The last category is called “animal and society” and is devoted to common politics that have to be done in fields such as education or technology.
