POSTHUMANISM: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES, is the subject chosen to develop the event to take place in Brasilia, the country’s political capital, and traditionally known for welcoming intellectuals, critics and journalists, who have encouraged important changes to make Brazilian society more inclusive and respectful for the rights of different social actors. This has been the case of individuals such as Teixeira, Darcy Ribeiro, Joaquim Barbosa, Renato Russo, Carlos Ayres Britto, among others who have collaborated in the cultural progress for the Brazilian people.

In this context, Brasilia will symbolically mark the advances toward a new generation of fundamental rights that goes beyond humanity itself: posthumanism.
