Man charged alter finding the cadavers of ten dogs in a cave

SEPRONA [Service for the Protection of Nature] of the Civil Guard has charged a man on the presumption of animal abuse. The man was the owner of one of the animals found dead in a cave where a dozen dog cadavers were found, some of which showed evidence of death by hanging. Two of them, both greyhounds, had a slipknot around their necks.

While the police investigation continues with the goal of identifying the others implicated, the investigations have been placed at the disposition of the District Court of Toro.
