Man charged for animal abuse after shooting his hunting dogs

SEPRONA [Service for the Protection of Nature] of the Civil Guard of A Coruña has charged a person on the presumption of animal abuse. The investigations performed by the agents state that the man, owner of two dogs, a griffon and a hound, killed the animals with a shotgun, supposedly because they were no longer useful for hunting.

The Civil Guard has seized four shotguns from his property. After making his declaration before the police office, the man has been released on bond, awaiting the future summons from the competent judicial body.
