Livestock manager charged with animal abuse

The director of a livestock firm in Molina de Segura has been charged on the presumption for the crime of animal abuse.

Agents of SEPRONA [Service for the Protection of Nature] of the Civil Guard found the abuse thanks to citizen collaboration and, together with veterinary technicians of the Municipal Government Department of Health, they found two donkeys, three specimens of pigs, two goats and various birds with evident malnutrition, which were transferred to the Municipal Zoo for treatment and recovery. Furthermore, the agents found bones of other deceased animals.
