Two men charged in the case of the mass grave of dead dogs plead before the judge


In March 2009 the director and a worker from the municipal dog kennel of O Carballiño were charged for the death of dozens of dogs which were found in a mass grave, which was reported by the collectives Amigos de Terra and Matar por Matar non.

After various attempts to close the process by District number 1 of O Carballiño, the appeal presented by these collectives against the case, the Provincial Audience ordered the proceedings reopened.

The judge has called the director of the kennel, veterinarians, workers and even the then director of the Department of the Environment to appear in court.
