Man sentenced to six months in jail for killing animals with poison and unauthorized traps


Criminal Court 3 of Granada has sentenced a livestock owner who caused the death of five foxes, a goat and a genet through the use of poison and traps not authorized for hunting.

The sentence condemns the perpetrator of the acts to six months in prison and a special one-year disqualification from hunting and fishing, as well as a fee to be paid to the Department of the Environment for the death of the animals and procedural costs.
