ABSTRACT

On December 11, 2013, nine students from the first and second editions of the Master in Animal Law and Society gave public defenses to obtain the Degree of Master. This text is a report on the defenses, which covered a wide scope of topics, from animals in public transport, to animals and experimentation, and a history of animal law in Japan. The variety of topics reflected the diverse interests of the students in the Program.
