2014 II Global Animal Law Conference
On July 11-12, 2014, in celebration of the tenth anniversary of first world conference on animal law, the second world conference will be help in Barcelona, Spain. Most of the speakers will be professors of law from around the world to share their thoughts and experiences in writing and teaching about animal issues. Learn what is happening in China, in the European Union, Brazil and other many other countries.
The country specific cultural context of animal issues will be explored as well as the policy issues which are universal. Perhaps as important as the content of the presentations will be the opportunity to become part of the international network of attorneys that care about and act on behalf of animals. Learning about other countries their culture, animal issues and legal approaches will provide insight and inspiration to all. Teaching, enhancing animal welfare and paths to animal rights will all be under consideration.
To assure a high level of engagement between speakers and the attendees, registration will initially be limited to law professors and lawyers. With apologies to all the great languages of the world, this Conference will be in English. Detailed program and registration information will be available in December.
