ABSTRACT

The judgment on appeal must decide whether the goods for which a claim is required will remain with the possessor or will be returned to the applicant. The Judge who decides emphasizes that, within that set of goods in litigation, he has to highlight to one in particular, a dog breed "Basset Haund" called "Bauty", which is ten years old. The judge asks a question: who is the true "owner" of "Bauty" - the person who bought it, or the person who has lived with it during all these years?
