The Affinity Foundation has recently published the results of a pioneering work in Spain, now in its 22nd Edition. It deals with a study, based on statistics, about the abandonment of pet animals in Spain. The figures force us to reflect on what constitutes a real social illness, given that every 3.5 minutes an abandoned cat or dog is collected on the streets in Spain.
