ABSTRACT

Everybody knows that the Qur'an is the sacred book of Islam. Despite this fact, many people do not know the great relationship between the Qur'an and the Bible. In the Qur'an there are many references of the Sacred books which existed before the revelation of the Qu'ran, which are the Pentateuch and the Evangelion.
Although we are very close to the muslim world, this has not made the Qu'ran more known in western countries.
In this article we can briefly see the origins of Islam, the revelation of the Qur'an, as well as the main prophets of this religion. This introduction bring us to the object of the study, the animals in the Qur'an. We can see which animals appear in the Qur'an, and in which sura and versicle they are referred.
We will also see in this paper that many considerations that we have about animals in Islam may be denied.
